What is the age category for entrance?
- Children: 5–12 years old
- Adults: 13–59 years old
- Senior Citizens: 60 years old and above
How do I purchase tickets?
Scan the QR code or purchase directly via events.salomagroup.com. Full payment is required to confirm your seats.
Will I receive a confirmation upon purchase?
A QR code e-ticket will be sent via WhatsApp or email once payment is confirmed. Please present it at the entrance.
How does the check-in process work?
Present your Identification and QR Code Ticket to our staff for scanning.
Do I need to bring identification?
Yes. Valid identification is required:
- Senior Citizens: MyKad / Passport
- Children: MyKid / Passport
Can I cancel or get a refund for my ticket?
No. All ticket purchases are non-refundable and non-cancellable. Once a booking is confirmed, no refunds will be entertained under any circumstances. Please double-check your dates and details before finalizing the purchase.
Can I bring outside food or drinks?
No. Outside food and beverages are not permitted.
Where can I park?
Parking is available at Lanai @ MaTic and surrounding areas.
Do you accept corporate or group bookings?
Yes. Corporate and group bookings can be arranged. Kindly contact our sales team directly to confirm availability and arrangements.
Is this event family-friendly?
Yes. The event is designed for families and friends to enjoy Malaysian culture, entertainment, food and the Merdeka celebration together.
Do I need to make an advance reservation?
Yes. Advance reservations are highly recommended as seats are limited.
Is seating reserved or first come, first served?
Seating is on a first come, first served basis. However, selected seats may be reserved in advance for corporate or group bookings only.
Will my seat be secured after booking?
Your reservation is only confirmed after payment has been received. Unpaid reservations within the specified timeframe may be released to other customers.
Can I walk in on the event day?
Yes. Walk-ins are welcome, subject to seat availability. Seats are limited and available on a first come, first served basis.
Can I attend the event without purchasing the buffet?
No. Entry to Gema Jiwa Merdeka is only available with the purchase of the buffet package.
Is the food halal?
Yes. All food served during the event is halal.
Are the performances included in the buffet package?
Yes. All performances are included as part of the Gema Jiwa Merdeka experience.
Will every guest receive a Jalur Gemilang?
Yes. Every paid buffet guest will receive one Jalur Gemilang from Saloma Kuala Lumpur.

Is there a dress code?
There is no mandatory dress code. Guests are encouraged to wear Merdeka-themed attire or the colours of the Jalur Gemilang.

Yes. Guests are welcome to take photos and videos throughout the event and tag us @Salomakualalumpur on your social media.
